Just days out of prison back in 1996, Robert Porter Robert Porter is the name of:

  • Robert Porter (neurologist), an Australian neurologist
 relapsed into using cocaine and heroin when fate shouted out from across the street.

Like a calling, Porter was sitting at a Sunland Boulevard bus stop, no place to go and too ashamed to face his family, when the voice came from a rehab center -- ``Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?''
