THE ZWEIG TOTAL RETURN FUND DECLARES MONTHLY DISTRIBUTION NEW YORK, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Zweig Total Return Fund, Inc.
(NYSE, PSE: ZTR), a closed-end investment company that began operations in September 1988, today announced its monthly distribution to shareholders. The distribution, of $.08 per share, will be paid on April 27, 1992, to shareholders of record on April 13, 1992 (ex-date April 7, 1992).
Martin Zweig, chairman of the board and president of the fund, said, "I am pleased to announce this distribution to the Zweig Total Return Fund's shareholders. This distribution is in keeping with our policy to make minimum monthly distributions of 0.83 percent of the fund's net asset value (10 percent on an annualized basis), offering our shareholders a stable cash flow."
