THE YUMMY MUMMIES; EXCLUSIVE Irish Calendar Girls saucy pics to raise -50,000.

Byline: JENNY McQUAILE

A GROUP of 12 yummy mummies are set to get pulses racing with a new calendar full of saucy shots.

Olwyn McGrane and 11 of her neighbours are getting together to make "the must-have calendar of 2005".

The women from Firhouse in Dublin will strike different poses including the Easter Bunny and it is all for charity.

Olwyn told the Irish Mirror: "The whole idea for the Yummy Mummy calender started when I was watching a programme about Crumlin Hospital in Dublin.

"I decided I wanted to do something to help so I met with my neighbours and put the calendar idea to them.

"They all agreed to help out and now this is getting bigger and bigger.

"We already have lots of sponsorship and we hope to raise EUR50,000 for the hospital.

"There are 12 mothers involved and we are all between the ages of 30 and 50.

"Between us we have about 35 kids so the children's hospital is important to us." The mummies are taking their lead from hit movie Calendar Girls where Women's Institute members bared all for charity.

But while the Dubliners all have a naked ambition to raise funds they won't be posing nude.

Olwyn added: "The pictures will be very professional and tasteful but sassy and saucy too. We are not revealing the poses we will be doing. The calendar will go on sale across Ireland in shops and schools on October 1.

"We decided on calling ourselves Yummy Mummies one day when we were sitting in my back garden.

"We are all yummy and we are all mummies so why not.

"We hope to go nationwide with this and already people are showing lots of interest.

"It is an original idea and very interesting and it is all for a good cause.

"We all have very healthy children so we want to give something back to those who aren't as lucky.

"We hope to eventually get on the Late Late Show to give this the extra push and hopefully we will reach our target."

The 12 women involved are Olwyn, Paula Keenan, Linda Dunne, Martina Newesmith, Linda O'Connor, Jenny Kearns, Audrey Sherry, Zelda Harding, Heiranne Tiernan, Najet Salim, Finnella Maughton and Elaine Bolger.
