THE TPA SIGNS 5-YEAR PARTNER AGREEMENT WITH HEALTHEON.

The TPA, the largest independent healthcare administrator in the United States, has signed a 5-year partnership with Healtheon Corporation (Nasdaq: HLTH), a leading e-commerce provider to the healthcare industry. The relationship will provide The TPA's more than 1 million members access to Healtheon's BenefitCentral(TM), an Internet-based online benefits enrollment and administration service for employees and administrators.

Employees of The TPA's client companies will have access to benefit information and be able to review plan information, select benefits, and compare features and costs, via an Internet browser. Healtheon and The TPA plan to expand their services to allow members to check claim status information and to connect members with physicians.

The companies announced that Healtheon's BenefitCentral(TM) interface is currently being deployed for use by The TPA employees. Services will be deployed to The TPA's client companies beginning in January of 2000.
