Though there were no on-stage births, the audience cheered when Colvin announced, ``It's a girl.''

Despite an enthusiastic reception, Sinead O'Connor (right), with some hair, pretty much limited her interaction with the crowd to some high-pitched thank-yous after each song. She was upstaged during the singing of her hit ``Nothing Compares 2 U'' by hoots hoots

Are you sure it isn't bleeding?''

The evening ended when most of the performers came back on stage to sing Marvin Gaye's ``What's Going On What's Going On is a record by American soul singer Marvin Gaye.
