Pros: David E. Kelley (``Picket Fences,'' ``Chicago Hope'') always does lawyers right. ... The acting is outstanding. ... You can get invested in it.

Cons: It is shot so dark, you will feel like you're underground. ... Too idealistic. ... People will hate it on principle because it is forcing ``NYPD Blue,'' albeit repeats, off the schedule for six weeks.

Sound bite: Bobby: ``The reputation of this firm doesn't matter to you?''

Ellenor: ``What exactly do you think our reputation is? I mean, who are you kidding? We are reasonable doubt for a reasonable price. We are a bottom-feeding-do-whatever-you-can-to-get-your-client-off law firm.''

Prognosis: If ``NYPD NYPD New York City Police Department (since 1845; New York City, NY, USA)
