THE QUAD, Tiger's New Weekly Animated Online Series is Awarded SHOCKWAVE Site of the Day.

VERNON HILLS Vernon Hill II (born circa 1946) is the founder and former chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Commerce Bancorp and Commerce Bank of Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey. , Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1999--

Tiger Electronics' original weekly, animated online series, THE QUAD was awarded top recognition as the SHOCKWAVE site of the day on Wednesday, October 20, 1999. THE QUAD can be accessed at www.tigertoys.com. New episodes are posted every Wednesday as fans follow four typical teens on a not-so-typical mission. Episode 4 is currently posted, but previous episodes and character biographies are available on the site.

Created by award-winning writers and illustrators, The QUAD is a Tiger original. It combines animation with full narration and an original soundtrack. Tune in to see how Arrio, Madison, Dexter and Kaitlyn deal with the government officials who arranged for their disappearance and bio-mechanically enhanced them. The adventure is alien in every sense...or is it?

SHOCKWAVE is the web standard for multimedia playback on the web. It allows people to view interactive web content such as games, business presentations and, of course, animated series like THE QUAD. The SHOCKWAVE media player, needed to view THE QUAD, is free and can be downloaded from the Tiger website at www.tigertoys.com.
The four main characters that make up THE QUAD are:

- Arrio Firman: A proud Latino with a piercing gaze and an equally
sharp mind. Arrio has trouble with those not as smart as he is -
meaning, everyone. The implants his "rescuers" embedded in his
head give his already-superior intellect an enormous boost. Now,
he not only thinks faster and more effectively than anyone on the
planet, he also has access to all information on the web, making
     him a true know-it-all.

- Madison Skye: No matter the danger, Madison always seems to be
smiling, like she knows something you don't. She chalks up her
optimism to a good family life and a healthy concern for other
people. Her legs have been reengineered allowing her incredible
     speed.

- Dexter Nolan: An off-beat rocker with a style all his own. What
Dexter lacks in subtlety, he makes up for with a sharp sense of
humor and his incredible implanted super strength. Some think his
slightly devilish smile indicates he's feeling or thinking
something much deeper than what he's saying, but in most cases
Dexter's a very surface kind of guy, and what you see is what you
     get.

- Kaitlyn Chu: Kaitlyn's wide eyes seem to absorb many of the
subtle details from the world around her. There is a serenity in
her demeanor, as though she could will herself to disappear.
Though as westernized as her first name indicates, her Asian
heritage has taught her to first solve conflicts internally. Her
implanted psychic abilities allow her to observe things that
     others overlook.
