Hunters looking to maximize their time in a duck blind or a dove field might want to consider booking a package hunt in Mexico.

One such destination is a combo ``blast and cast'' adventure at the Muchos Patos Duck Club in Mazatlan. A recent outing included a great duck/dove hunt combined with some trophy bass fishing at Anglers Inn on Lake El Salto.

An awesome hunting destination in Sinaloa is the Sinalo Pato Duck and Dove Club, outfitted by Bobby Balderrama and based at the Plaza Inn in Los Mochis. A little farther north, in Sonora, bird shooters can package ducks, dove, quail, brant brant or brant goose, common name for a species of wild sea goose. The American brant, Branta bernicla, breeds in the Arctic and winters along the Atlantic coast.  and bass fishing with trip booked through Gabino's Yaqui Valley Hunting.

Liberal daily bag limits on ducks and dove and ``no hassle'' packages that have been put together by licensed outfitters has made hunting in Mexico simple. Combo hunts for ducks and dove are offered that include lodging, transportation in the field, meals, rental of high quality Berretta and Benelli shotguns and licenses.

The season in Mexico will run through March 5, and some of the best wing shooting occurs when the migration peaks in February.
