In this issue we are proud to present the breadth of humanitarian assistance and demining tasks covered by DSCA. In this issue, we bring yet another example of how this program has positively affected the lives of the students who are in our military schools. Sadly in this issue we must report our loss at DISAM of two of our colleagues who have been mainstays in the organization since its beginning. Our Deputy Commandant, Larry Mortsolf, and our Director of International Studies, Dave Carey both retired at the end of the year, giving us a loss of over 45 years of DISAM experience between the two of them.
