'HEROES' BATTLES EPILEPSY: Greg Grunberg Gregory Phillip Grunberg (born July 11, 1966) is an American television actor. He is currently starring as Matt Parkman on the NBC television series Heroes, ongoing since 2006. , who plays ex-L.A. cop Parkman on "Heroes," has a son with epilepsy and does charity work for the Epilepsy Foundation. And to that end, nbc.com is hosting an upcoming auction of the art seen on "Heroes," with proceeds going to the Epilepsy Foundation.

The art going up for auction, created by comic-book illustrator Tim Sale, includes "Exploding Man," "Eclipse," "Claire on the Stairs" and "Hiro and T-Rex." Bidding will begin March 26 at 6 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time and will close at midnight March 28 (meaning folks on the West Coast have a better shot at winning, unless East Coasters want to stay up until 3 a.m. to protect their bids). A second auction will begin April 2. The Epilepsy Foundation will soon begin receiving a lot of donations inside envelopes sporting "Lord of the Rings" return-address stickers.

BURNETT BOOKING IT: Carol Burnett Carol Creighton Burnett (born April 26, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas) is an Emmy Award-winning actress, comedian, singer, dancer, and writer and is known for her long and successful entertainment career. Burnett started her career in New York. , 73, is quietly working on a new book titled "Questions & Answers," a collection of anecdotes from her Emmy-winning career as an actress, singer, dancer and variety-show host. The funny lady says she's already 30,000 words into the project but won't contact a publisher until it's finished.

"Somebody might buy it and put me under pressure," she jokes.

One of the book's anecdotes involves Burnett trying to write a check at Manhattan's Bergdorf Goodman Bergdorf Goodman is a major, world-renowned luxury goods department store based in Midtown, Manhattan in New York City. It is owned by Neiman Marcus. History

"So far I haven't recorded with any of the other actors. It's been like acting in a vacuum," she says. "I hope I can do some in the same room with Jim Carrey. I love him. He's fearless."
