Fox and Verizon announced Monday that 60-second ``mobisodes'' of ``The Simple Life: Interns'' will be available on demand for Verizon's wireless broadband High-speed wireless transmission of data. What is "high" speed is always a changing number. Wireless systems are typically slower than land-based, wireline networks. In the past, wireless broadband started at 250 Kbps, whereas land-based broadband was generally considered to start at T1 customers starting April 6. Bunim-Murray Productions says the shorts will feature unaired footage of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie winging it through a variety of trainee jobs for which they are either grossly unqualified or in which they are barely interested. The eight mobisodes will cost users 99 cents each. LET'S GO TRIPPIN' "Let's Go Trippin'" is an instumental by Dick Dale and the Del-Tones. It is often regarded as the first surf rock instrumental. TWINS CANCELED: The Cocteau Twins have pulled out of their previously announced April 30 performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio. According to a spokesperson, group member Elizabeth Fraser has opted out of the show, which would have been the band's first in eight years, due to undisclosed personal reasons. According to a spokesperson, this news puts an end to plans for additional Cocteau Twins shows this year. Last month, the group said on its official Web site that it was planning ``engagements that will run from June and into the fall.'' It is understood that Cocteau Twins' Coachella slot will be filled by another act, not yet named. BELIEVE ED OR NOT: Actor and all-around friend of Earth Ed Begley Jr. is putting his famous name and face on a new line of products. The first of Begley's Best is an all-purpose household spray cleaner that is advertised as ``aggressive, nontoxic, biodegradable, child safe and vegan vegan /veg·an/ (ve´gan) (vej´an) a vegetarian whose diet excludes all food of animal origin. ve·gan n. .'' ``It's a great cleaner,'' he said. ``I'm not chemophobic, but if you can get something cleaner without using something toxic, why not?''
