Channel 4 announced that Kelly Lange will be its on-air presence for local MSNBC MSNBC Microsoft/National Broadcasting Company  cut-ins that will be seen on Southern California cable systems each afternoon.

She will continue to co-anchor the station's 4 p.m. newscast with Chuck Henry.

Colleen Williams will replace Lange on the 11 p.m. newscast and will co-anchor it and the 5 p.m. show with Paul Moyer.

Cruise may marry a `Witch': Tom Cruise and his producing partner Paula Wagner are joining Columbia Pictures to produce a new version of ``I Married a Witch.'' While there is no deal for Cruise to star, sources said the project would be tailored for him and his actress wife, Nicole Kidman. The 1942 film, starring Veronica Lake and Fredric March, is about a witch and her father who time-travel into the future to get revenge on the descendant of a man who had them burned in Salem, Mass.

Cage starring as `Tom Slick': The unlikely tale of Tom Slick Jr. will be coming to the screen with Nicolas Cage as the star. ``Tom Slick: Monsterhunter'' is inspired by the eccentric Slick, the heir to a substantial Texas oil fortune who used his money to chase monsters around the world in the 1950s. Slick would finance huge expeditions to find Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster Loch Ness monster
