, Sting, Elton John and Eric Clapton will be among the artists contributing songs to a forthcoming tribute album to Princess Diana, Virgin mogul Richard Branson said Monday.

All proceeds from the sale of the album will go to a memorial fund set up in her name.

Speaking to reporters in South Africa, where he is traveling on business, Branson, a friend of the princess, said he began contacting various musicians in the days after Diana's death.

``We are doing two things,'' he said. ``One is to produce a beautiful tribute album, which will come out at Christmas. And then next August, we are going to have a wonderful concert at Hyde Park, with all her favorite musicians in celebration of her life.'' He said concerts will also be held simultaneously in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

Elton John's new version of ``Candle in the Wind,'' which he performed at Diana's funeral Saturday, also will be on the tribute album.
