 Pictures' new animated feature ``Tarzan'' will be held at Hollywood's legendary El Capitan El Cap·i·tan  

A peak, 2,308.5 m (7,569 ft) high, in the Sierra Nevada of central California. Its dramatic exposed monolith rises some 1,098 m (3,600 ft) above the floor of the Yosemite Valley.
 Theatre June 12, and will be followed by a live performance by Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Phil Collins, who will sing four of the songs he wrote for the film as well as other hits.

A star-studded guest list of celebrities and their families is expected to attend this invitation-only event, including many of the actors who lent their voices to the characters in ``Tarzan,'' such as Tony Goldwyn (Tarzan,) Minnie Driver (Jane,) Glenn Close (Kala KALA Kalaupapa National Historic Park (US National Park Service) ,) and Nigel Hawthorne (Porter.)

Inspired by Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic tale, ``Tarzan'' follows the adventures of an orphaned infant raised by a family of gorillas and ultimately accepted as one of their own.

The ``Tarzan'' premiere will mark the official debut of the El Capitan's newly installed ``mighty'' Wurlitzer organ, which will be used as preshow entertainment at all future events.

Directed by Kevin Liam and Chris Buck and produced by Bonnie Arnold, ``Tarzan'' is set to open nationwide June 18.

`Carter' revisited: Sylvester Stallone has committed to star in a new version of the 1971 British crime thriller ``Get Carter.'' In the gritty drama of redemption and revenge, Stallone will play tough guy Jack Carter, a mob heavy who goes home for his brother's funeral. The strange circumstances surrounding the death send Carter on a hunt for the killer that pits him against local criminals in a seedy world of porn and gambling and reaches a violent conclusion.
