Elvis Presley's daughter, on a concert tour in Australia, said in an interview broadcast Monday that she saw things she ``couldn't do anything about'' during her 1994-96 marriage to Jackson. ``I was in no way referring to seeing something inappropriate with children, as I have stated publicly before. 'Frasier Goes Wilde' indeed

You'd have reckoned there might be no finer moment than seeing the entire principal cast of NBC's ``Frasier,'' now in its 11th season and drawing near the finish line, standing side by side for one final bow. Oh, unquestionably un·ques·tion·a·ble

Grammer and Pierce in particular were, if not born to play Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrief, then certainly bred in that direction.

But the real coup of the evening Monday was the mystery guests. The reading was barely five minutes gone when Pierce's Algy opened a door to usher in his butler, Lane, and out stepped ... Kirk Douglas. Not only did Douglas know his lines (everyone else held scripts) but delivered them with a dry Wildean panache, demonstrating that he's still standing - and quite game. His appearance was doubly fitting, considering the evening benefits new play development at the new Kirk Douglas Theatre The Kirk Douglas Theatre is located in Culver City, California and in 2004, was acquired by the famed Center Theatre Group. And there was one more mystery guest. Just as we became convinced he wouldn't make an appearance, we saw the dog Moose emerge from a valise, a tuxedo bow tie around his collar.

Whitney's cry for help

The current announcement is the latest in a string of troubling incidents for Houston. Husband Bobby Brown allegedly roughed her up in December, leaving her with a cut lip and a bruised cheek. Brown's alleged slap-happy ways got him 60 days in jail for probation violation stemming from his 1996 conviction on a drunken-driving charge.
