Eugene Evangelical Church Harvest Party - The party will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the church, 834 Monroe St. Games, food for all ages.

Grace Lutheran Church Expansion Dedication Service - A service of dedication and Thanksgiving will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 18th Avenue and Hilyard Street. The church's recent expansion includes a new exterior and expanded narthex narthex (när`thĕks), entrance feature peculiar to early Christian and Byzantine churches, although also found in some Romanesque churches, especially in France and Italy.  and hall area. American Guild of Organists' Pipe Screams - A program of spooky organ music will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church First United Methodist Church is a common name for the first United Methodist church established in a particular locality. Jubilee World Outreach Community Harvest Party - The party will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Willamette High School Willamette High School is a school in Eugene, Oregon.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church - The Rev. Sam Mathew, director of ecumenical relations and priest in the Diocese of Madhya Kerala, Church of South India The Church of South India (C.S.I.) is a union of many Protestant Christian churches spread throughout South India. Wesley and Trinity United Methodist churches - The two churches will have a combined worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist, 440 Maxwell Road. The Rev. Donna Pritchard, Southern District superintendent, will preach on "Mirimba Mamma!" Music will feature Wesley's "Catch the Spirit" band and Trinity's Chancel chancel, primarily that part of the church close to the altar and used by the officiating clergy. The Community of Christ Community of Christ, formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, religious group that regards itself as the successor of the church founded by Joseph Smith.  - The church at 1485 Gilham Road will host a 24-hour Outreach International Hunger Challenge for junior high and senior high youth beginning at noon next Saturday, Nov. 5. The hunger challenge is a food fast drawing attention to people of the world who don't have sufficient food to sustain life.
