Center for Sacred Sciences - The video "America's New Religious Landscape" will be presented at 11 a.m. Sunday at 1571 Buck St. The free program includes a group discussion and a potluck brunch. Call 345-0102.

Thurston Christian Church - The church will hold its seventh annual community block party, free from noon to 4 p.m. today in the parking lot, 6680 Thurston Road. The event features hamburgers, hot dogs, children's games, a dunk tank A dunk tank, also known as a dunking booth or dunking machine, is an attraction mainly used in funfairs, fundraisers, and personal parties. Basically, a dunk tank consists of a large tank of water, over which a seat is suspended. , an inflatable slide and more. Jubilee World Outreach - Pastor Wayne Codeiro, former Eugene Four Square pastor and currently in Honolulu, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Willamette High School Willamette High School is a school in Eugene, Oregon.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is the term for a special type of religious education which caters toward children, usually during the summer.
