Central Lutheran Church - Two adult education offerings will be at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the Fellowship Hall A fellowship hall is a large room in a church building where certain activities in the church building are done, such as certain dinners ,breakfasts, meetings,or workshops etc. It gets its name from the fact that the people there at the church building are giving fellowship.  at the church, 1859 Potter St. Offerings include a post discussion on the Chi Rho Series, presented by Dr. Daniel Falk, and the Grief and Loss series, which will continue weekly through Dec. 17. Central Presbyterian Church Located on the northeast corner of Brazos and Bois d'Arc (now Eighth Street), Central Presbyterian Church in Austin Texas traces its roots to the organization of the first Presbyterian church in Austin on Sunday, October 13, 1839. First United Methodist Church - Pipe Screams 2006 concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 14th Avenue and Olive Street. The recital will be hosted by master of ceremonies George Evano, of the Oregon Bach Festival The Oregon Bach Festival is an annual celebration of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, held in Eugene, Oregon in late June and early July. It was co-founded by German conductor Helmuth Rilling and the former president of the American Choral Directors Association, Royce Saltzman, , and will feature members and friends of the Eugene Chapter of the American Guild of Organists The American Guild of Organists, or AGO, is a national organization of academic, church, and concert organists in the USA, headquartered in New York City. It was founded in 1896 as both an educational and service organization.  performing spooky Halloween music while in costume. Performers include organists Julia Brown, Dan Rinnan, ElRay Stewart-Cook, Maria Dossin, Lindsey Henriksen, Laura Parker, Eric McKirdy, John Jantzi and Barbara Baird and soprano Jennifer Russell. The program will feature music by Bach, Boellmann and others. Costumes are encouraged. Free-will offering to support KWAX radio program, The Organ Loft. The circle will begin at 6 p.m. Participants are encouraged to research a deceased person with the same first, middle, last, or nickname with honorable qualities they wish to emulate. St. Mary's Episcopal Church - The monthly "First Wednesday" evening will begin with supper at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Parish Hall at the church, corner of 13th Avenue and Pearl Street. A Solemn High All Saints' Day All Saints' Day, feast of the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, and day on which churches glorify God for all God's saints, known and unknown. Church Women United of Eugene - In celebration of World Community Day a special interfaith program, "Signs of Healing," will be at 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 4 at St. Mary Episcopal Church, 13th Avenue and Pearl Street. The program will feature speakers from several religions including Sikh, Hindu, Sufi, Baha'i, Quaker, and Christian Scientist.
