Irving Christian Church - The Poodle poodle, popular breed of dog probably originating in Germany but generally associated with France, where it has been raised for centuries. There are three varieties, differing in size only.  Creek Pickers and The Trammels and Co. will perform in a two-hour concert today at 7 p.m. at the church, 1300 Irvington Drive, in a fund-raiser for the family of Dan Osterman, who died suddenly Dec. 28 at age 53. Mohawk Community Church - The church will hold its annual Spaghetti Feed, a youth fund-raiser, today from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $3 per person or $10 per family. Unitarian Universalist Church of Eugene - A fund-raising auction will be held at the church, 477 E. 40th Ave., from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Veritas Forum - "Life and the Universe - Intelligent Design, Evolution or Both?" is the title of a forum at 7 p.m. Friday in the EMU Fir Room at the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities. . Panelists include attorney Tom Alderman, UO chemistry professor Paul Engelking, Dennis Gilbert of Lane Community College physics department and Geoffrey Simmons, author of "What Darwin Didn't Know." Community Easter Egg Hunt - Donations of individually wrapped, store-bought candy to fill eggs are now being accepted for Emmanuel Christian Church's sixth annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, to be held March 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Meadow View Elementary School, corner of Barger and Legacy.
