THE BANK OF CALIFORNIA MOVES TO HIGH-PROFILE OFFICE IN BELLEVUE
BELLEVUE, Wash., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bank of California today said it relocated its low-profile seventh-floor branch operations and personnel to a more visible location on the ground floor at 10900 N.E. Eighth St. in Bellevue, several blocks away.
Dean Pollock, regional manager of the office and 28-year veteran of the bank, said the move was in line with the bank's policy to increase its visibility in its target markets, thereby increasing its client base.
"We've maintained a 'quiet' approach to banking in Bellevue since moving here in 1987," Pollock said. "Now, we're setting out to heighten public awareness of the bank, and we believe that moving to this higher- profile location will help achieve that objective."
Relocating to N.E. Eighth St. makes strategic sense because the building is located on the most heavily traveled street in Bellevue, with excellent access to Interstate 405.
"Our target clients travel that route every day to their workplaces. We're a unique bank, specializing in providing banking services to professionals such as physicians, attorneys and CPAs, as well as to middle-market businesses. These services include private and business banking, personal and business trust, real estate and investment management services. Our highly refined business focus differentiates us from other banks that serve this area," Pollock explained.
He added that the bank has built a strong Bellevue presence based upon stability and consistent delivery of quality services to its clients. The office, in its nearly five years of operation, has grown in assets to $46 million and in core deposits to $30 million.
Pollock endorses corporate citizenship through community activities including participation on the boards of the Mercer Island Beach Club, Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club, and the Bellevue Downtown Action to Save Housing.
The Bank of California, N.A., based in San Francisco, is the oldest incorporated bank in the West, with 52 offices in Washington, Oregon and California, and 11 international offices. The bank has been an active participant in the Pacific Northwest financial marketplace since 1905.
