TETRA TECH LANDS AOL TIME WARNER JOB.

PASADENA - Tetra Tech Inc. landed a $15 million deal Tuesday to provide the hard wiring for the New York City New York City: see New York, city.
New York City

The Time Warner Center The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use skyscraper developed by The Related Companies in New York City. Its design, by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, consists of two 229 m (750 ft) towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail  project will be Tetra Tech's largest indoor communications project ever.

``We feel good about this very prestigious project,'' said Li-San Hwang, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and president of Pasadena-based Tetra Tech. ``This is a very modern and successful company and we've worked with Time Warner before, providing technology, so they know our capabilities.''

The anticipated infrastructure includes indoor wireless communications, audio and video communication systems, integrated security and power management.

The 2.7 million-square-foot Time Warner Center will house AOL Time Warner Inc.'s new corporate headquarters including the Jazz Center, high-end condominiums, CNN CNN
 or Cable News Network

Business features will include upgraded broadcast and reception capabilities for CNN via satellite, fiber optic and cable communications networks, wireless phone systems and possibly 3D-holographic display maps for visitors in the center.

Design of the infrastructure began a month ago and construction, supervised by Tetra Tech's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 branch, will be completed by 2002.

Tetra Tech provides resource management, infrastructure and telecommunications support services through a network of more than 150 offices throughout the United States, in Canada and Taiwan.

Hwang said he thinks with the completion of this project, people will realize Tetra Tech is in the forefront of indoor communications.

``Completing this project puts us at a pretty good advantage,'' he said. ``People will recognize we have the capability to do this kind of thing.''
