TERYL WILL EARN A 50-PERCENT INTEREST IN LAC DE GRAS DIAMOND PROPERTY AND WILL DRILL IN APRIL 1993

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Teryl Resources Corp. (Vancouver: TRC) will now expend $250,000 to earn a 50-percent interest in the highly promising Amad diamond claims in the N.W.T. and will fast-track an exploration program.
Teryl Resources Corp. will commence drilling on identified kimberlite targets in April, after conducting ground magnetic surveying in March.
The work program will be under the supervision of Jack Marr, M.Sc., P.Geo., the former regional manager of Kennecott Canada Inc. Mr. Marr has over 20 years of mining exploration and development experience.
Teryl (50 percent) and Calco (50 percent) beefed up their interest in the 2,500-acre claim block as a result of the termination by mutual agreement of their option and joint venture agreement with Kennecott Canada Inc.
Both companies are fully funded and will be in a better bargaining position with potential joint venture partners if the results of the 1993 work program prove to be successful.
The 1992 work program consisting of airborne geophysics and ground sampling performed by Kennecott discovered diamond indicator minerals from all seven ground samples including a total of 106 garnets (including 31 pyrope garnets of which two are G10 garnets) and five chrome diopsides. The airborne magnetic and EM Survey has defined geophysically anomalous zones within the claim.
The Amad claims lie inside the Dia Met/BHP Utah block of claims, only a few miles from the recent world-class diamond discoveries.
