Liver cancer is a relatively rare form of cancer but has a high mortality rate. Liver cancers can be classified into two types.

Roni Razankova hopes to bring her mother to the Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Cancer Center in Los Angeles. Doctors there say they can provide a more accurate diagnosis and prescribe a more appropriate treatment than her mother has received in Macedonia, a former Yugoslav republic.

Roni Razankova said the Macedonian doctors have acknowledged there is little they can do for her mother, and they suggested she seek help outside the country.
