TELESIS COMPUTER NETWORKING INC. ANNOUNCES FIRST MAJOR INSTALLATION AT MARTIN MARIETTA FOR THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Raymond S. Freed, chairman and chief executive officer of Network Telesis Inc. (Vancouver: TLE), a wholly owned subsidiary and operating company of Telesis Computer Networking Inc. announced today the first major installation of its Network Performance Management Systems Net-F/X (A-LAN) to the Martin Marietta Corp. Martin Marietta, a 6 billion dollar corporation, is the prime contractor for the management of the Oakridge National Laboratories at Oakridge, Tenn.; for the United States Department of Energy. It is expected that installation will be completed by March 15.
Freed stated that since Martin Marietta also manages the computer systems for the Department of Defense this placement of the Telesis (A-LAN) Network Management System at the Atomic Energy Laboratories is a major breakthrough for Telesis and will serve as an introductory showcase installation into the various Federal Agency computer networks.
The installation at the Martin Marietta comes after the completion of a successful four-month Beta program at Southern California Edison and at Loral Aeroneutronics, a major U.S. defense contractor. Both Beta operations exceeded expectations and both companies are now discussing expansion of their systems.
Freed stated that current sales activities are most encouraging among both Government and Fortune 500 companies and current sales forecasts indicate that Network Telesis should be installing at least 5 more systems within the next 60 days.
The Telesis Net-F/X (A-LAN) is a new and proprietary network performance management system developed by Telesis which enables network managers to analyze, correlate and monitor the effects of its generated traffic on large network systems.
The estimated market for this technology is estimated at $500,000,000 and is growing at 10 percent annually.
