TELEPHONE NEWS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD ON GEORGIA HEALTH CARE REFORM
 AND INDIGENT CARE COST
Nine out of 10 Georgians consider health care a basic right for everyone. Furthermore, a majority of the public believes that the responsibility for health care costs and reform rests squarely with the general public, state and local governments, insurance providers and hospitals.
These findings and more are detailed in "The Cost of Compassion," a Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) report to be unveiled in a live telephone news conference Monday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m.
To participate in the TELNET telephone news conference, editors and reporters within the Atlanta calling area should call 404-980-9900. Those calling from outside the Atlanta area should call GHA collect. The news conference will begin promptly and continue until all questions are addressed.
NOTE: A news release and a copy of "The Cost of Compassion" will be mailed on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
CONTACT: Richard Orr of the Georgia Hospital Association, 404-955-0324.
