Designed to work with Windows CE and Pocket PC terminals through WiFi communications, Pocket LABEL MATRIX enables users to print label requests from any location to any designated bar code printer on a corporate network.

Pocket LABEL MATRIX includes advanced features

Pocket LABEL MATRIX works with labels designed using either LABEL MATRIX or LABEL MATRIX PowerPro software version 7.01. It includes several advanced label printing and management features:

Database support - LABEL MATRIX databases can be automatically

downloaded to the portable device to pre-load label data for

printing in the field.

Label design file downloading - Label designs can be downloaded

over wired connections or sent to the Pocket PC and Windows CE

devices over a wireless network to easily distribute designs to

multiple devices.

Time/date variable support - Label designs can use information

from the portable device to provide real-time date/time stamping.

Prompted field support - "Keyboard Input" fields can be added to

LABEL MATRIX label designs which prompt users to enter the field

values on the handheld device at print time.

LABEL MATRIX 7.01 enhancements

Along with Pocket LABEL MATRIX, TEKLYNX today announced enhancements to its desktop label design software packages, LABEL MATRIX and LABEL MATRIX PowerPro. The enhancements include printer driver support for over 1,000 thermal bar code printers, as well as any Windows-compatible printer. LABEL MATRIX printer drivers can be added on the fly as new drivers are developed by downloading Download Service Packs from the TEKLYNX Web site.

LABEL MATRIX 7.01 also supports both reverse printing, to reverse the order of the pages printed, and stacked printing, to print sequences on subsequent pages so that label sheets can be cut to yield ordered stacks of sequential labels. Other system administrator-level enhancements are included for security, modifying printer codes, code conversions, and OLE automation.

LABEL MATRIX 7.01, LABEL MATRIX PowerPro 7.01 and Pocket LABEL MATRIX are available immediately. Pocket LABEL MATRIX works with devices from leading manufacturers, such as Casio, Compaq, NEC, Symbol and Toshiba. It is compatible with Strong Arm, MIPS, SH3 and X86 mobile architectures.
