TEI's delegation to the annual liaison meetings included its senior officers, members of the Executive Committee, and the chairs or vice chairs of the Federal Tax, International Tax, and IRS Administrative Affairs Committees. The two-day meetings in Washington focused on IRS modernization, legislative initiatives concerning corporate tax shelters, regulatory developments, and several studies recently released by the Treasury Department and the Joint Committee staff.
