TEI's new leadership team sails into Newport.


TEI's incoming officers, Executive Committee, and chapter presidents gathered in Newport, Rhode Island Newport is a city in Newport County, Rhode Island, United States, about 30 miles (48 km) south of Providence. It is the home of Naval Station Newport, housing the United States Naval War College, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, and a major United States Navy training center.  in June to discuss their goals and objectives for the upcoming year. The two-day program at the Hyatt Newport Hotel also featured a firm grounding in process and procedures.

 2005-2006 President Mike Boyle Mike Boyle, born Los Angeles, California on January 19, 1944, is a former mayor of Omaha, Nebraska and is a current member of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Biography  opened the educational portion of the 2006 Leadership Seminar on June 26, welcoming the officers and chapter leaders to the U.S. yachting capital and then turning the helm over to 2006-2007 President Dave Bernard. Mr. Bernard, joined by TEI Executive Director Timothy McCormally and Chief Tax Counsel Eli Dicker dick·er
