But while the two teens, who played on the same team, didn't have much luck in the tournament, they both had a good time meeting new people and seeing the sites of Hawaii. ``We actually didn't do that well in the tournament,'' said Kyle, who added that the competition was like nothing he'd seen before. ``We only had a couple days to practice as a team before the tournament started, so that made it kind of hard.'' David agreed. ``Our team just kind of got thrown together and we played against teams that were already established and had been playing together all summer,'' he said. When they weren't playing baseball, Kyle and David were able to tour the islands, seeing sites such as Pearl Harbor Pearl Harbor, land-locked harbor, on the southern coast of Oahu island, Hawaii, W of Honolulu; one of the largest and best natural harbors in the E Pacific Ocean. In the vicinity are many U.S. military installations, including the chief U.S. , the Pali lookout, Diamond Head and the Mayor's Mansion MANSION. This term is synonymous with house. (q.v.) 1 Chit.
