TEENS' FILM TO BE SHOWN AT LOCAL UA.

Byline: Amy Dawes Daily News Staff Writer

Ready for something different at the movies?

``Common Bonds,'' a feature-length movie written, produced and directed by the teen-agers of Valley-based Next Generation Productions, will screen for the public at 7 tonight at the United Artists Warner Center Theatres, 6030 Canoga Ave., Woodland Hills.

Tickets are $5, and proceeds will go into a general fund for future projects by the teens, who are currently producing a series of public service announcements aimed at promoting racial tolerance.

The movie, which features professional actors as well as area teens, screened at the Sundance Film Festival in January. ``Common Bonds'' is a humorous and uplifting story about the bonds between generations.

Directed by then-15-year-old Tony Manriquez of Sun Valley, it's about K.C. (Northridge resident Kate McKinney), a rebellious re·bel·lious
