TEE-COMM FILES PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS

 MILTON, Ontario, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Tee-Comm Electronics Inc. (AMEX: TEN) announced today that it will file a preliminary prospectus with the securities commissions in Canada for the issue of common shares. Underwriters for the issue will be Nesbitt Thomson Inc. and Scotia McLeod Inc.
 Tee-Comm is Canada's largest manufacturer and distributor of home satellite systems and services. Its TCI division offers a cable-like TV subscription service to Canadian homes not served by conventional cable companies. The company recently announced its plans to offer a Canadian Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) service to provide a 150 channel service on a 24" dish late in 1994. The company's new line of Star Trak receivers is used in the TCI program and also sold through an extensive network of satellite distributors and dealers in North America, Mexico, South America and Asia.
 Al Bahnman, Tee-Comm's chairman of the board, said, "Proceeds of the issue will, for the most part, be used to finance further expansion of TCI's subscriber base."
