Jukes was charged with two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 and two counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14, both felonies. He was also charged with three misdemeanor counts of child annoying. He is scheduled to be arraigned May 26 in Van Nuys Superior Court. The FBI began investigating Jukes in March when a mother monitoring her son's Internet activity saw an inappropriate e-mail from him to her son. She reported it to the FBI. Jukes, a computer instructor at the school, was fired March 6 because of the e-mail. By Jukes' April arrest, the FBI had identified one alleged victim. A Daily News article about the arrest led to additional leads and helped identify other alleged victims, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.
