TCP Reliable Inc. Posts 70% Sales Increase for 4TH Q 1998 Vs. 4TH Q 1997.

EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 1999--TCP Reliable Inc. (OTCBB:TCPN) posted sales in excess of $6.3 MM for 1998, a 28% increase over 1997 sales. The 4th Q sales showed an unprecedented 70% increase in revenues, with a backlog of 2MM into 1999 through the month of October. An 85% yearly sales growth in the ThermotechO product line contributed to the incremental sales volume during the last two quarters of 1998.

The projected new product sales growth and expanded services will provide the expected 40% sales increase for 1999 vs. 1998. Among TCP's new products and services, the autosizing Thermotech vial carrier and the low temperature conditioning warehouse services are expected to provide the most benefit to customers. TCP will continue to expand its laboratory capabilities and engineering staff for the coming year.
