TCP Reliable Announces Sales Gains for the Second and Third Quarter 1998.

EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 1998--TCP/Reliable, Inc. (OTCBB: TCPN) recorded $ 2,008,000 in revenues for the third quarter 1998 vs. 1,003,000 for the same period last year. This record follows 2nd quarter sales of $1,514,000 vs. $1,330,000 for the same period 1997. Management expects a 60% increase in revenues for 4th quarter 1998 vs. 4th quarter 1997 sales of $1,120,000.

The company's production capacity in fabrication, molding, custom EPS foam cutting and phase change manufacturing has been increased via investments in capital equipment to accommodate increased demand for its products. TCP has also expanded its existing testing lab validation services for impact, humidity, temperature, and vibration to include Certified ISTA tests.

Increased interest in phase changing products will provide penetration into markets previously dependent on carbon dioxide (dry ice). Both -20 and DISE (Dry Ice Substitute) provide extended low temperatures independent of or in conjunction with transport modes. In addition, Exo-Gel (a high temperature stabilizer that acts as both a shield and a heat sink) will allow TCP to capture the expanding biotech market for products requiring stringent temperatures from 10(degree) C to 50(degree) C.
