that stretch the limits of the imagination. The series features events and reports from around the world. Highlights from the Sept. 27 episode include the following:

-- Fear of Flying: To conquer his fear of heights, Joey Strange will
insert hooks into his back and legs and hang from a helicopter
flying over the city of Los Angeles. Strange believes that the
unique body modification allows him to escape into a meditative
state, aiding in his quest to conquer his fear of heights.

-- Hole In One Kid: Six-year-old golfing prodigy Jackson Rue has
already scored four holes in one, making his first after only a
month of golf practice. In comparison, the odds of an amateur
golfer making a hole in one is 12,000 to one, and Tiger Woods has
    three lifetime holes in one.

-- Ammo Farmers: WWI battlefields of Eastern France still contain
bombs and artillery shells that have not been detonated. Each
year, dedicated men and women scrape through dirt in playgrounds
and backyards, removing 30 to 40 tons of ammunition.

-- Cloak of Ants: As a rite of passage, the young men of the Amazon
must wear a glove of fire ants without showing pain or discomfort.
Equally grueling, the young women have each hair on their heads
    pulled out one by one.
