NEWHALL - Anxious taxpayers can get help sorting through the confusing Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations starting this week at the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  Senior Center.

Taxpayers must bring their tax-preparation booklet, a copy of last year's tax return and any other tax forms received in the mail. Priority will be given to taxpayers who are at least 60. Appointments are available between 1 and 4 p.m. and can be made by calling (661) 259-9444.

The Santa Clarita Valley Committee on Aging is sponsoring the service as part of its commitment to the 30,000 seniors and adults in northern Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County.
