Tuesday was the big day, 25 years later, when generations would be introduced and reacquainted via mementos and other long-anticipated items. ``We had the whole school and a lot of parents at the ceremony waiting to see it opened,'' Hansen said. ``They were very excited. It was wrapped in newspaper and after we cut some wire off, everyone thought we'd take the lid off.'' But the copper box, approximately 12 inches square, was welded shut. The box was handed to the maintenance man, who eventually was able to cut the box open. The contents will be revealed this morning as the culmination of the school's 25th anniversary celebrations. Past and present teachers and administrators will be recognized and will tour a display that recalls school history, from the 1970s to the year 2000. ``It was like, a bummer bum·mer n. 1. Hansen said Lockyer is working on getting a similar box so the current students and staff can add to the capsule. They'll decide what to put in their time capsule, she said, after they see the contents of this one.
