TAKING NOTE OF SUMMER COMMUNITY CONCERTS ARE HOT SPOTS FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A COOL TIME.

Some folks might prefer the soulful sounds of r&b. Others might like to get up and dance to a great swing tune. Still others might enjoy seeing a band that pays tribute to the Beatles -- from their early days as the Fab Four to the Sgt. Pepper era.

Whatever your musical taste, there are events throughout the Valley that can satisfy your musical appetite.

This summer, the Starlight Bowl was the place to be on Sunday evenings in Burbank. The city sponsors a concert series that offers a wide variety of acts, ranging from the Burbank Philharmonic to the regional rock favorite Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries.
