TAKE-TWO INTERACTIVE SOFTWARE TO LAUNCH GAMES FOR LINUX.

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO), New York, has begun releasing games for the Linux operating system. The company's recently acquired Global Star division, based in Toronto has released "100 Great Linux Games Vol. 1." The company has several additional products planned for release this year dedicated to the Linux operating system.

"100 Great Linux Games Vol. 1." offers users of Red Hat (NASDAQ:RHAT) 6.0, or higher, Linux operating systems the opportunity to play games like Chess and Pong in 3D, as well as, offering players a plethora of great 2D games.

Take-Two continues to explore the viability of publishing gaming product for as many different platforms and operating systems as possible. The company continues to support alternative PC platforms in addition to Linux, most notably Apple's Macintosh, for which the company plans to release 6 products this year.

Additional renditions of "100 Great Linux Games" are planned throughout the year 2000, as well, the company plans to support the Linux operating system with at least two original products in the year 2000.
