The film stars Aaron Carter ("Supercross: The Movie," "The Even Stevens Movie," "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius," "The Princess Diaries"). Having successfully built a music career spanning over a decade, with over 5 million albums and 1 million singles sold worldwide, "Popstar" is Aaron Carter's first starring role in a motion picture.

The film also stars Alana Austin, Kimberly Kevon Williams Kimberly Kevon Williams (born October 8, 1985 in California) is an American actress who is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Shayne Thomas in the HBO series The Comeback. , David Cassidy, Leif Garrett and Rick Overton.

"Popstar" was directed by Richard Gabai and produced by Steve Austin. The film highlights the incredible life and adventure of being internationally renowned teen and recording artist JD McQueen.
