A small rural village until World War II, it developed significantly in the second half of the 20th cent. has been selected as a coach for the 2007 McDonald's All-American High School Basketball Game, March 28 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky. Although no official announcement has been made, Taylor confirmed Thursday that the event's organizers have chosen him to coach the West team for the 30th annual boys' game. "As a coach, people either love you or hate you so it's nice to know that someone out there on the national level has recognized what I've done at Taft." |
