Studies conducted by Mainframe Week, IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  and The Wall Street Journal found that statistically, virtually all businesses without disaster recovery planning that experienced unexpected down time ranging from 2-5 days went out of business within five years. (a) However, in spite of the widely acknowledged need for Disaster Recovery (DR), high costs and lack of in-house expertise have put effective DR out of reach for most small- to medium-sized businesses ($100 million to $1 billion in annual revenue). For these reasons, these companies have remained particularly vulnerable, leaving the viability of the company and the jobs of employees in jeopardy.

"The response from our customers has been tremendous. For the first time, they're finding Disaster Recovery solutions ideally suited to the needs and budgets of the smaller MIPS market," stated Steven Friedman, president of T3 Technologies. "Within six hours, we can restore their critical business processes residing on their mainframe, and can affordably provide a permanent replacement option that's up and running within 72 hours -- protecting both their business and their job."

T3's three complementary Disaster Recovery offerings are now available, and include VSE Data Vaulting & Recovery, Disaster Replacement Option, and Disaster Recovery Planning. Pricing begins as low as $399 a month.
