) a Colorado based security company specializing in security, fire and access control products, announced a letter of intent for the acquisition of Law Enforcement Technologic Resources Inc. (LETR LETR Law Enforcement Torch Run (for Special Olympics) ), a Ventura, California Incorporated in 1866, the city of San Buenaventura (usually referred to as Ventura) is the county seat of Ventura County, California. Ventura has a population of 106,744.[1] Ventura is accessible via U.S.  law enforcement software developer company and its subsidiary, Ventura Identification Systems Inc., a first stage manufacturer of optical fingerprint readers A scanner used to identify a person's fingerprint for security purposes. After a sample is taken, access to a computer or other system is granted if the fingerprint matches the stored sample. A PIN may also be used with the fingerprint sample. .

The firm has developed important new biometric technology, including an advanced optical fingerprint reader device. With several new patents in process and pending, LETR has positioned itself to be the low cost/high quality provider to OEM's with products targeting the Automatic Identification Industry. This acquisition allows Sytron Inc. to offer unique "leading edge" biometric technology that will substantially advance Sytron's competitive position within the security and access control industry worldwide.
