Sytron Inc. Signs Letter of Intent for a Biometric Technology Company.

BROOMFIELD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1998--Sytron Inc. (OTCBB:SITR) a Colorado based security company specializing in security, fire and access control products, announced a letter of intent for the acquisition of Law Enforcement Technologic Resources Inc. (LETR), a Ventura, California law enforcement software developer company and its subsidiary, Ventura Identification Systems Inc., a first stage manufacturer of optical fingerprint readers.

The firm has developed important new biometric technology, including an advanced optical fingerprint reader device. With several new patents in process and pending, LETR has positioned itself to be the low cost/high quality provider to OEM's with products targeting the Automatic Identification Industry. This acquisition allows Sytron Inc. to offer unique "leading edge" biometric technology that will substantially advance Sytron's competitive position within the security and access control industry worldwide. The Biometric Identification Industry is potentially a billion dollar industry that is growing at a rate in excess of 25 percent a year.
