Systalex Signs Three Contracts with the Department of Commerce Worth Approximately $10 Million.


Company to Provide Financial Management Support Services to NIST, NOAA and the U.S. Census Bureau

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Systalex Corporation, a leading information and IT solutions provider and the 4th ranked Small Technology Business in the DC metro area by the Washington Business Journal, today announced that it signed three separate contracts with individual bureaus of the Department of Commerce (DoC) to provide functional and technical financial management system support services. The three contracts, with the National Institute of Standards and Technology National Institute of Standards and Technology, governmental agency within the U.S. Dept. of Commerce with the mission of "working with industry to develop and apply technology, measurements, and standards" in the national interest.  (NIST), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Noun 1. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - an agency in the Department of Commerce that maps the oceans and conserves their living resources; predicts changes to the earth's environment; provides weather reports and forecasts floods and hurricanes and  (NOAA) and the U.S. Census Bureau (Census), have a combined value of over $9 million.

Most recently, Systalex has been providing information management and federal financial management services to the DoC, NIST, NOAA and Census under the Commerce Financial Enterprise Business System (CFEBS CFEBS Certified Federal Employee Benefits Specialist ) contract. These new contracts are designed to provide these bureaus with continued support while preparing for DoC's planned Financial Management Modernization Project scheduled for fiscal year 2009.
