Syska Hennessy Group.Ali Sherafat, P.E., has been named deputy chief engineer at Syska Hennessy Group, a national leader in consulting, engineering, technology and construction. In his new position, Mr. Sherafat will be responsible for the development of engineering standards at Syska Hennessy, leading the firm's QA/QC QA/QC Quality Assurance/Quality Control program, overseeing the Technical Leadership Committee and directing technical education efforts for staff professionals. Mr. Sherafat is a registered professional engineer with over 24 years of experience as a consulting mechanical engineer. He joined Syska Hennessy in 1988 and is currently a Senior Vice President. As head of the firm's Western Region Special Projects Team, he has been actively involved in the planning, design and operations of state-of-the-art building systems at major office complexes, hotels and resorts, government facilities, museums, universities, retail and mixed-use projects and industrial campuses.
