Bell 5100 series handheld gauss meter this June at two upcoming trade shows: the Sensors Expo and Conference in Detroit as well as Magnetics 2004 in Denver. Conference goers can see demos of the 5100: the first ergonomically designed handheld gauss meter in its class to combine bench top functionality and performance with the mobility of a handheld. The 5100 measures the density of magnetic fields in a variety of applications. With a rubber, molded grip for improved durability, the 5100 measures 3.8 inches wide and 6.5 inches long and weighs in at a comfortable 14 ounces. Building on F.W. Bell's reputation for precision and durability, the 5100 offers the best accuracy in its class and is the only handheld gauss meter with DSP (Digital Signal Processing). The 5100 also features a Universal Serial Bus interface for data logging capability (with optional software), high resolution readings in four ranges, increased battery life compared with previous models, and a frequency response two times better than the closest competitor.
