Synovus Announces Increase in Quarterly Cash Dividend.

), the Columbus, Georgia-based diversified financial services company, today announced a 6.8% increase in its quarterly cash dividend to $0.1950 per share, up from $0.1825 per share. The cash dividend is payable on April 1, 2006, to Synovus shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 23, 2006.
