(Nasdaq:SNPS), the technology leader for complex IC design, today announced two upcoming annual Synopsys Users Group (SNUG) Conferences -- SNUG San Jose 2000, March 13-15, 2000, and SNUG Europe 2000, March 30-31, 2000 in Paris, France. SNUG is an open forum that provides Synopsys customers an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss problems and explore solutions.

Now in its tenth year in San Jose and ninth year in Europe, SNUG has established itself as the premier EDA user conference and has become an essential date on many engineers' calendars. SNUG San Jose 2000 will be held March 13-15, 2000 at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California. The conference consists of thirteen User Breakout Sessions and fifteen Tutorial Sessions. The Synopsys Night Welcoming R&D Cocktail Party includes an opportunity to see product demos, and to meet with the R&D product teams, as well as Synopsys executives.

SNUG Europe 2000 is a two-day conference that runs March 30-31 at the Palais des Congrs in Paris, France. The conference will include eight Tutorial Sessions, twelve User Breakout Sessions and an evening event.
