The "Kern County Fly-In" was held at an airfield near Shafter, Calif., in conjunction with the California Agricultural Aircraft Association (CAAA CAAA - California Agricultural Aircraft AssociationCAAA - California Applicants' Attorneys Association CAAA - Canadian Association of Advertising Agencies CAAA - Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 CAAA - Clean Air Act Authority CAAA - Coherent Adaptive Antenna Array CAAA - Commuter Airline Association of America CAAA - Composers, Authors, and Artists of America CAAA - Crane Army Ammunition Activity), the Kern County Agricultural Commissioner's Office and Inland Crop Dusters. "Our goal was to help aerial applicators make on-target pesticide applications through a combination of aircraft testing and product stewardship education," said Dale Nicol, the local technical marketing representative for Syngenta who coordinated the event. In addition to spray pattern testing, the event offered lectures on tips and techniques for product application and the importance of aircraft maintenance. |
