Michael Michael, archangel
Michael (mī`kəl) [Heb.,=who is like God?], archangel prominent in Christian, Jewish, and Muslim traditions. In the Bible and early Jewish literature, Michael is one of the angels of God's presence.
 Mack, president of Syngenta Crop Protection Inc., assumed the role of chairman of Syngenta Corporation, Wilmington, Del., effective Oct. 1. Mack succeeds Bob Woods, who will retire from the company at the end of November. Mack was named president of Syngenta Crop Protection, Greensboro, N.C., in September 2002. In addition to chairing the Board of Directors, Mack will assume responsibility for government affairs and corporate communication. The company also announces that Sarah S. Hull was formerly a vice president at Robinson, Lake, Lerer and Montgomery in Washington, D.C., and a senior vice president and partner with Fleishman-Hillard in Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850). . Her most recent post was global public affairs lead for Monsanto in St. Louis.
